Join Our Team! The Northwestern Vermont Board of Realtors (NVBR) is seeking a Communications Manager to help increase engagement with members and raise our public visibility. This is a full-time, salaried position that will work out of our office in Williston. Position Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the NVBR website and social media sites.
- Engage NVBR members through a variety of communications channels including, but not limited to, written communications, website, social media and video.
- Promote NVBR benefits, services and events to members and prospective members.
- Publicize to the public, NVBR events, programs and initiatives that support the community.
- Attend association and community events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated, creative, tech savvy and forward thinking.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and events from beginning to end.
- Must have familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies.
- Must possess strong computer literacy with emphasis on Microsoft Office applications.
- Must also be comfortable working with social media sites and YouTube and should be familiar, or be willing to learn how to work, with email marketing software.
- Must be comfortable using a camera and video.
- Must be willing to use own vehicle for association work/travel.
- A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity in real estate or other association-based business and 2 years of relevant work experience is a plus.
